“ In Himeji, head to the famous Himeji oden restaurant! \(^o^)/ Just a one-minute walk from Himeji Station, we arrived at Himeji Noren Street. We had originally planned to make it a day trip, but the Kintetsu train was delayed, so we ended up missing the return trip and ended up staying the night at the same hotel as everyone else. That meant we had dinner but still wanted to go out for drinks. So, I did some Tabelog research again and found this restaurant. When we stepped inside the noren, the six seniors were already there (lol). They had it set at the table next to us, and we toasted with plum wine! The oden itself was lightly seasoned and incredibly delicious, but I wondered what exactly makes Himeji oden so good? Wow! It's supposed to be eaten with ginger soy sauce!! We shared a platter of seven kinds of Himeji oden, shaking it gently and pouring ginger soy sauce over it. It goes so well together! What is this? It's so good!!!!! Kyaaaaaaaaaa! It really is local cuisine, and it truly lives up to its name. It's so tasty! Seriously the best! I absolutely loved it! Since it's also a kushikatsu restaurant, we also ordered a Camembert cheese skewer. This cheese was so good! We also ordered a regular pork skewer. The total for two people was about 4,600 yen. It was perfect for a little fun, and definitely worth it. On our way out, we snapped a photo of Himeji Castle, illuminated with lights, from the HIMEJI monument in front of the station. It's a little far away, so we zoomed in (closed up), and it looked like this. Everyone was taking commemorative photos. It was a fun time, even on a cold night. I'm glad we decided to stay the night after all. \(^o^)/ If you have time, please visit Princess Cinderella's blog, Instagram, and YouTube! ”

“ The classic combination is delicious. The staff are friendly. I think Himeji has a unique character. If you're not used to it, the language may seem strong, but it's actually friendly. ”
